Our flock is free-ranging during the day and safely penned at night.
While a considerable amount of their diet consists of forage, they are also offered free-choice, high-quality, specie specific feed.
The Australian Spotted duck is in critical condition, which means fewer than 500 breeding birds exist in the United States and fewer than 1,000 globally.

The benefits of the Australian Spotted duck are many. Their striking plumage, docile temperament and friendly demeanor make them a favorite among duck enthusiasts. When eggs are left in the nest, hens will sit and mother a brood. Ducks, especially Heritage Breeds, are sure to delight and amuse.
Not everyone is prepared for or equipped to raise ducks, but for those who are, purchasing a breeding pair will help. For those who cannot, a donation in any amount will contribute to food and housing for these beauties.
